The fog is lifting but the rain is still in the air. There is a puddle of water on the asfalt between garage doors, traces of snow. The water is like a mirror, reflecting the sky and buildings around. Sounds of distant sirens blend with a cooing pigeon. I am holding the hand of my son as I take him to school.
