Giuseppe Penone - Pensieri e linfa
The facsimile of Pensieri e linfa is printed using HUV inks by Art & Caractère in Lavaur on Free Cento Premium White 80gsm paper from Fedrigoni, and hand-bound in Japanese stitching by Reliure Devel in Neuvic (Dordogne). It is inserted into the folder described as colophon.
The photogravure of the artwork is produced by Droit à l’image in Le Bono, using Archives Penone in Turin. The book presents the first bilingual edition of Giuseppe Penone’s text, translated into French by Jean-Christophe Bailly at the artist’s request.
The entire work is housed in a box covered in full linen canvas, 12-thread count, specially mounted on paper for lining on white cardboard, crafted by Reliure d’art du Centre in Limoges. The cover is embossed and handwritten by the artist.
